I've been following Brandon for a number of years and as a result none of the information was new to me-- well, maybe seeing the research behind some of what he says was new, but not much else. If you watch his videos and visit his website frequently you will find this book to be a waste of time, which isn't meant to take anything from this book, but rather, speak to the quality of his site and videos.I am an advanced gym goer so the book was 2.5-3 stars for me, but if you're a beginner or just starting out in the gym this is a great book for you to pick up.

nice book if you like working out
If you you want the straight scoop on building muscle and looking good, this may well be the best buck you ever spend. Written in a casual, chatty, no BS style, Mr. Carter tells it exactly like it is. Great advice, great read, great price. What are you waiting for?
There wasn't anything too groundbreaking here, however, Brandon is an inspiration to the average guy/girl, and has a very entertaining style of writing. His book is motivational, and a reminder to us all to get off our tails and get the most out of life, particularly in the fitness realm. It's 2016 people, we know what we need to do, but so many of us 'Choose' to take the easy business as usual approach to almost anything that is difficult and does not show immediate results! Brandon lays it down, doesn't sugar coat anything, and gives you the step-by-step program to get moving. Easy, fun, and informative read.
I have been a fan of Brandon for a long time, and since he announced this book, I've been waiting for it like crazy. And it even exceeded my expectations - AMAZING book, it is good to have all of the information in one place and not surfing through tons of Brandon's videos for a necessary piece of information. I'm gonna try his advice, because if you visit his channel, and watch a transformation video, you will see that this secrets are not B.S. - they are super legit, and they will help to put some of that MUSCLE MASS!
Brandon, thank you very much for all your work and help so that everyone can become a better version of themselves. For 3$, such a direct and to the point guide is a crazy bargain. Peace.
If you are one of Brandon Carter followers, this book is pretty much his whole YouTube channel combined. My personal opinion, I'm Brandon's follower and he gives really good advice. Honestly, I recommend this book to all of you who are willing to put the effort to get the body of your dreams. If you want quick results and magic secrets, this is not the book for you. Building a great body takes time.
This book is a quick read and I have applied it's uses and have noticed a difference in just a month of following these tips. Brandon Carter is one of the few personal trainers I trust out there. He tells you how it is and the best way to do it. You follow his tips and you will see amazing results. This book is all you need. You will never get this kind of information out of anyone for the price that it is. Totally worth your time to read and follow the instructions in this book.
I read a lot of fitness and health books, so I was pleasantly surprised when I purchased Brandon Carter's book and actually learned some new information. If you've seen him, then you know that he obviously knows what he is talking about too as there are not many people that are in such excellent physical condition like he is. I also found the book motivational. After reading it I feel like yes, I can get in shape and build some muscle!
